Our sources, and how we weight them
We check claims against a curated set of sources. Each carries a trust weight we set and publish openly — because a fact-checker's credibility comes from showing its sources, not hiding them.
Weights are maintained by editorial staff and can change as sources prove more or less reliable. A higher weight means a source carries more influence when scoring a claim.
